When Ford released the new Mustang with the fastback design of old; the muscle car world was set on fire. Then Dodge release the new Charger and Challenger. Well Chevy has finally decided to cash in on all those baby boomers who grew up with the original Camaro. Although they are a few years late, Chevy hopes that those die hard fans will still be out there with some cash on hand, ready to scoop the new cars up.
The new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro is slated for public release in Mid March. Many dealerships are already offering deposits and information on this new car. The Camaro will be offered in 3 trim levels; the LS, LT, and SS. The new car is based off the styling's of the original Camaro's of old.
The LS version will get a 300-horsepower V-6 engine with Direct Fuel Injection and standard 18-inch steel wheels. Some other features will include Traction Control and ABS. The interior will be equipped with six airbags, OnStar, and XM radio. The LT version adds 18 or 19-inch aluminum wheels, fog lamps, and a power adjustable driver's seat. The SS version is available with a 400 or 420 horsepower V-8 engine, 20-inch wheels, Brembo brakes, and a limited-slip differential. The exterior will also get SS badging and unique SS body pieces including a spoiler and front fascia.
Prices will be very affordable; around $23,000 for the base model, and only $30,000 for the SS model. At these prices maybe Chevrolet can sell enough cars to make a profit for once. Singh Chevrolet is accepting refundable deposits and also has a mailing list for information on the new 2010 Camaro.
