The Big Three Muscle Cars
I give thanks to the big three, for everything they've done for me, they built the muscle car, gave it style, gave it power, I love the big three, it used to be just GM for me, but with current events I can't deny the things they've all done for me.
Chevrolet gave me the camaro, the Z/28 with it 302 and available cross-ram and two four barrels, they gave me the Yenko camaro with it's brutal fire breathing 427 cubic inch big block, it's thanksgiving and I give thanks to the big three, nobody does more for me.
Dodge gave me the hemi charger, nothing quite like a hemi, it's brutal horsepower and torque could make a grown man cry, the 426 cubic inch beast, that was modestly rated at 430 horsepower, could easily prove that number wrong, and would make you competitor's face very long.
Buick gave me the GSX, in 1970 Buick decided that it needed to really compete in the muscle car wars that the big three were having, enter the GSX, an 11 second factory ¼ mile, the GSX could impress the most staunch Buick disbeliever, and usually did.
I give thanks to the big three, for everything they've done for me, they built the muscle car, gave it style, gave it power, I love the big three, it used to be just GM for me, but with current events I can't deny the things they've all done for me.
Ford gave me the mustang, with all of it's accolades, I can't deny it's street prowess, and it's awesome drag presence, I can't deny the sales numbers, the most sold American muscle car of all times, the power, and the dignity, add Carol Shelby, and look what For did for me.
On this day of giving thanks maybe you should look inside, and possibly you could really see the big three for everything that that they do for you, you say that they have made mistakes, you say their quality suffers, and you buy in to the hype of the imports, take another look at the big three.
Buy American and save our country, they have had one hundred years to build in our country, and they provide you with the things that you need, take another look at the big three, I have seen everything that they've done for me, and I love the big three.
I grew up with the big three, and my family drove nothing but GM and Ford, I love the big three, and I know what they did for me, I could never stand on the import soap box with dignity, I love the big three, for all they do for our country.
I've been in the automotive business for about 20 or 25 years, I have worked in all facets of the industry, from parts to restoration, all different makes and models, I just want to keep people interested in the old cars because it's where my heart is.

Top 10 Fastest Cars
Which are the top 10 fastest cars? This is a frequently asked question in motor magazines and motor websites. If you take passenger cars, you can find that speed is actually not a concern in most cases, especially considering today's congested traffic. Speed does matter in car racing competitions.
The list of top 10 fastest cars published by various websites and magazines usually will have some kind of subjectivity and bias. Anyway, let us start from the bottom.
The car that comes tenth on most of the lists is Porsche Carrera GT. Its maximum listed speed is 209 mph. It can steam into 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds. The engine has a power of 612 hp.
The ninth spot in the l goes to Lamborghini Murcielago LP640. It has a maximum speed of 213 mph. It can reach a speed of 60 mph is 3.3 seconds. The power of the engine is 640 hp. Although it comes only ninth in the list, it is undoubtedly the best-designed car in the list.

Ferrari Enzo is in the sixth spot. Its maximum speed is 217 mph. It can race to a 60 mph speed in 3.4 seconds. Its engine has a power of 660 hp. The fact that only 399 models were produced makes it a collector's item.
A car from McLaren, Ferrari's staunchest rival in Formula One circuit, comes next. McLaren F1 has a maximum speed of 240 mph. It can reach 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. It has a 627 hp BMW V12 Engine.

The Music and Cars
Music has been the backbone of human culture for hundred of years. There are spirituals for different groups of people, favorite songs for individuals and national anthems for countries. Just like music, vehicles are a part of human life that people can't live without. People rely on cars to get to and from work, to and from school and to travel across country in. Vehicles keep the country moving, even if the congestion problems on the roadways keeps getting worse by the day.
How do music and cars go together? There have been plenty of songs written about certain cars that are still popular today as well as bands named after cars. Most notably, and most obviously, The Cars. Their most popular songs were Hello Again, Just What I Needed and Drive.
Songs throughout history that have paid tribute to cars have been done by Prince, Bruce Springsteen, The Who, Wilson Pickett, The Beach Boys and War. There songs about cars not only were popular because of the music but also because of what they were talking about. Prince's song was Little Red Corvette, Springsteen's song was Pink Cadillac, The Who sang Jaguar, Wilson Pickett did Mustang Sally, The Beach Boys were famous for Little Deuce Coup and War was popular for Low Rider. Low Rider is now the theme song for the hit sitcom George Lopez.
Once music videos became popular one band created one of the most popular music videos of all-time by using a car, a wind machine and a beautiful girl. That band was White Snake. The song was Here I Go Again, arguably their most popular song. The girl in the video was actress Tawny Kitaen and she was writhing all over the Jaguar of David Coverdale, the band's lead singer.
The song that most people associate with cars is Life is a Highway from the decade of the 1990s by Tom Cochrane. The song peaked on the United States Billboard charts at #6 in 1992 and it became a number one hit in Canada, his native country. His song, by far his most popular, has been used in movies, television commercials, radio spots and covered by the band Rascal Flatts.
Anywhere you go music and cars have a love affair with each other that can't ignored. People drive around with their tops down and the radio on, blaring their favorite music while out for a cruise with their friends or family members. The most recent 'driving' song or song about cars was done by the band from New Jersey Bon Jovi. Their song Lost Highway was released on their new album Lost Highway in June of 2007. Musicians have dedicated songs to the open road, classic cars and all types of vehicles throughout the history of entertainment and continue to do so today. Producing and releasing songs about cars and driving are as popular as ever because they hit home with the American people, who not only love their music but also love their cars.
